Companions have health, damage and sometimes an expendable resource like mana, but do have Might, Speed, Wits, or Charm stats because as NPCs they don't roll. Companions automatically succeed at things the GM determines they can do, like attacking or using one of the moves listed on their sheet. Companion's also have loyalty, represented by 💚 which must be spent to get them to do things that doesn't fit their usual jobs or moral code, such as getting a frail mage to help move heavy objects, getting a spoiled princess to wade through a muddy swamp, or getting a morally upright paladin to turn a blind eye to some petty theft. Spending loyalty can get a companion to step outside of their comfort zone, but while there are soft boundaries they will cross, there are also hard boundaries they will not cross. The paladin might ignore a few stolen items, but definitely won't help you burgle someone's home. Most companions have ways to restore their loyalty, such as giving them certain gifts or letting them do certain things.
