Advances

🟢 Foxsleeve - If you're getting fucked or dommed, ignore damage that exceeds 2.

⚪ Overfull - Get two 💙 instead of 1 from enemies that are much larger! Let this mana gain exceed your max (up to 4)

🟢 Overcocked - Recharges all uses at the beginning of a session or battle. Once per ally, excluding yourself, turn their next 7-9 into a 10, or a miss into a 7-9, and their move gets a cooler outcome, GM decides how!

🟢 Leadership - In your (sober) presence, allies are immune to mind-altering effects like fear or hypnotism. You also take +1 to rolls against such effects.

🟢 Fast Thinking - When an ally is being targeted and you aren't, you can spend your reaction to give them Aid on theirs.

🟢 ⚪ ⚪ Superior Stat - Increase a stat by +1. Max of +2 to a stat.

⚪ Ultimate - Reach max level! Work with the GM to discuss what it should be.

🟢 Ammo Pouch - Sometimes you need different ammo for different situations! When you need special ammo for the situation, you can spend 💡 to reload your gun with specialty ammo such as tranquilizers, aphrodisiacs or others, at the GM's discretion.

🟢 Bad Habits - All the best detectives have their vices, and you're no exception. Investigation is stressful work. Once per scene, you can engage in a bad habit such as drinking, smoking, gambling or a one-night stand to regain 1 💡.

🟢 Spout (Dumb) Lore - You may roll+Wits to recall some real obscure shit you have no business knowing, like the licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop, or who really did 9/11.

🟢 Mental Block - You may spend 💡 to give allies or yourself 🛡️ using a barrier of force.

⚪ Just Improvise - Once per scene, you may use your surroundings to inflict +1 💔 to the enemy.

🟢 🟢 ⚪ Superior Stat - You can raise a stat by 1, max of +2 to a stat.

⚪ The Big Reveal! (Ultimate) - If you've used Lesson Learned at least twice this session, you may make a Big Reveal when confronting the main antagonist! Reveal something about them that was so cleverly hidden in the narrative that even the GM hadn't figured it out yet! The target takes 💔 for each Lesson Learned and suffers some kind of disadvantage based on what horrible secret was bared to light!

TATTOO: Revolver Ocelot - This tattoo of a vicious cat is upon your gun-wielding forearm. Once per encounter, you may enchant a shot by adding the POUNCED debility - The target is briefly assailed by an invisible wildcat; are they licked? Maimed? Pinned? Depends!

⚪ Duality 1: Warmth – Half of the damage dealt to your ♥ is refunded as 💛. Damage must be taken all at once and is rounded down.

🟢 Duality 2: Immolation – Melee attacks taken or dealt now inflict a stack of HEAT. Usable only once against each enemy.

⚪ Wildfire – When using Burning Passion, you can now choose spend 🔥 and roll +Wits to afflict up to 3 enemy targets with HEAT. On a 7-9, you also afflict up to 3 allies with HEAT, excluding yourself.

🟢 Walking on Coals – You are now immune to damage and other negative effects of fire, but only the fire. A torch can still bludgeon you.

⚪ The Brightest Tool in the Shed – Your tools know how to do the job, even if you don’t. Burning Arsenal can now provide tools that allow you to perform actions you normally would not be adept at, such as lockpicking. The relevant rolls still apply.
